Today I am going to show you how to make a DIY boxwood wreath. I bought a rustic window pane at an antique store and hung it over my couch. It needed a little something extra, and I was seeing all of these cute boxwood wreaths hanging over them on Pinterest. I looked up how much they cost and they were a little pricey so I looked into making my own. It was really easy and only cost be about half of what they are selling for in the store.
I ended up paying around $16 for my wreath and it was super easy!
Materials you will need:
- Hot glue gun
- Grapevine wreath (found at Michaels for $4.99)
- Boxwood greenery (found at Michales for $17.99 but used a 40% off coupon = $10.99)
I followed this girl’s video tutorial for how to place the greenery along the wreath.
First, you will need to take all of the green stems off of the vine, and then you will want to hot glue them into the wreath all facing the same direction. See below for the finished product. I was so happy with it!
I just stuck a nail in the window pane wood and hung it over. I have seen other posts where they use burlap ribbon to create a bow, but I wanted it without the bow.
